Your Star Performer is now available in CNG. The new 16-ton GVW ecomet CNG is engineered for best in class range and KMKG, Power in the segment. The new truck comes with stylish looks with full metal cabin to offer more safety, easy maintenance and meet new age customer’s expectation& powerful round head lamp to increase safety during night operations. The new ecomet STAR CNG provides high fuel efficiency, better tyre life, longer service intervals and overall lower maintenance cost. All of this translates to enhancement in the Turnaround Time (TAT) for the fleet owner thereby resulting in best-in-class Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

CNG SAFETY FEATURES

Swagelok fittings:
  • Excellent gas-tight sealing and tube-gripping
  • Leak proof operation
  • Excellent vibration resistance

Stainless steel pipes:

  • Stainless steel pipes used with high safety rating
  • Excellent surface finish and corrosion resistance
  • Leak tight joint

High pressure filter:

  • High pressure filter protects the engine from dirt particles present in the CNG
  • Corrosion resistant aluminum body
  • Single integrated unit

Ignition cut off switch:

  • Ignition cut of switch at filling area to avoid vehicle from starting during filling
  • Ensures proper safety at filling time

Vent lines:

  • In case of high temperature and pressure increase, vent lines will release the CNG to avoid any accident
  • Gas vent out at front and rear of load body
  • Carbon steel pipes for vent lines

Manual cylinder valve:

  • Manual on/off valve for each cylinder
  • Max working pressure of 260 bar
  • Safety venting and valve complies with ECE R110 standard

CNG cylinder:

  • Approved cylinder from PESO
  • Meets all safety standards as per ARAI
  • Wide choice of CNG options (90L, 120L, 180L and 240L)

Dual filling nozzles:

  • Slow and fast filling options available for highway and city filling

Shut of valve:

  • Single valve to cutoff entire supply of CNG to engine
  • Driver should switch it off while halting at night
  • It is easier to switch off during emergencies
